    A Cruz Bar spokesman has questioned the police response .. when a man was seriously injured in an assault in Christchurch


    The man is one of three seriously hurt outside the bar in the early hours of March 21 - and he is still in hospital.

    The spokesman is asking why police have only just started making inquiries - 10 days after the assault.

    Cruz is the only gay bar in the Garden City - but police say there's nothing to indicate this was a hate crime.

    They want to hear from anyone who was in the area from 2am till 4am.
