Pfizer's latest trial data suggests its Covid-19 vaccine is highly effective in younger patients, as well as adults

The vaccine has now been tested on a group 12 to 15 year olds, and found to be 100 percent effective.
Dr Nikki Turner of the Immunisation Advisory Centre says Covid-19 is quite uncommon in children anyway.
There were 18 cases in the test group that hadn't have the vaccine, and none in the group that did.
But Dr Turner says when it's rolled out in very large numbers we can expect to still see the occasional child who'll get sick.
Medsafe will scrutinise the new data to see if it can approve the vaccine for under 16s in New Zealand.
