Auckland's water storage levels are still way below what they should be
3 April 2021
Half a millimetre of rain fell yesterday in the Hunua Ranges, south of the city, and in the Waitakere Ranges, in west Auckland.
About 28 millimetres have fallen in those places over the past week.
Dam storage is just over 52 percent, compared with the normal 78 percent this time of year.
However, Aucklanders seem to be doing a good job at keeping their water use under control.
The consumption target is 445 million litres or less a day, and yesterday Aucklanders used 390 million litres.
