A man charged with arson after a massive fire at a North Canterbury tyre stockpile has been named

Interim name suppression has lapsed for 63 year old Garry Robert Grimmer at the Christchurch District Court this morning.
He is accused of setting alight hundreds of tyres outside Amberley in January.
Nearby residents complained of physical and financial side effects.
Grimmer will be back in court on June 9.
