Auckland Transport started monitoring CCTV on the transit lane outside Albany Senior High School in February.
Drivers are fined 150 dollars, if they use it more than 50 metres or have single occupancy, in the morning and afternoon rush hours.
An AT spokesperson says these figures show a high level of compliance by drivers in the area... fewer than three infringement notices a day.
Onewa Rd on Auckland's North Shore will also soon be slapped with 68 new cameras to monitor its controversial T3 lane.
