    Motorists are being advised to avoid travelling over the Remutaka Hill


    A truck's broken down on the hill, and the southbound lane is blocked near the Featherston side of the summit.

    Heavy vehicles are also unable to pass travelling northbound.

    A mechanic's on the way but delays are expected.
