    Western Australian Premier Mark McGowan says the state will avoid another Covid-19 lockdown


    However spectators have been banned from an Aussie rules match at Optus Stadium in Perth tonight.

    Nightclubs will also be closed until at least the 8th of May.

    There are no new locally acquired cases in Western Australia.

    McGowan says Australians can't become complacent.

    He says they need to get tested and should keep wearing masks.
