Increased demand for sexual health services shows more funding is desperately needed

Family Planning is seeing wait times of up to two months at some clinics, due to factors like the increasing popularity of long-acting reversible contraceptives -- also called LARCs.
Sexual health expert Dr Cathy Stephenson says the rising cost of GPs can also contribute, as young people can't afford to go for contraception appointments.
She says since LARCs have become more popular, unintended pregnancy rates have dropped hugely -- which shows it's an important thing to invest in.
