Ko's set to make the cut despite shooting a four over par 75, seeing her drop to a tie for 39th at four over for the tournament.
Fellow Kiwi Amelia Garvey is well down the order in a tie for 116th at 12 over with two holes left in her round.
Garvey's hit five bogeys and two double bogeys.
