The Kiwis international has been hit with a grade one contrary conduct charge for dropping his knee into second-rower Joseph Vuna's head while getting up to play the ball.
The charge carries a one-match ban whether he accepts the early guilty plea or chooses to fight the suspension at the judiciary on Tuesday.
He's also copped a grade one careless high tackle charge but has escaped with just a fine.
