New Zealand's Avocado industry is reaching record highs despite Covid-19

New Zealand's Avocado industry is reaching record highs despite Covid-19

The latest 2020 and 2021 season raked in more than 227 million dollars.

Exports counted for more than 160 million, and sales within the kiwi market more than 60.

NZ Avocado CEO Jen Scoular says it's amazing news considering restrictions throughout 2020.

She says they didn't have any independent sales in the fruit and vegetable stores and exporters weren't able to go and meet clients face to face and build those relationships.
