Police are responding to a spate of robberies in Christchurch

Police are responding to a spate of robberies in Christchurch

They were called to a business on Halswell's Lillian Street at 6.20am - then a Sockburn commercial property at 10am.

Early reports suggest several offenders raided the Halswell business, and fled before police arrived.

It follows a robbery at a New Brighton dairy on Keyes Rd on Sunday, with offenders leaving with stolen items in a car.
