The Robinson R44 went down at Terrace Downs, near Mt Hutt, with a wedding party on board on Saturday.
A newly married couple, the pilot and photographer Rachel Jordan have serious injuries.
She'd been taking photographs from the cockpit, just before its engine lost power shortly after take-off.
Her husband Eric Jordan said he's been asked to provide those photographs to assist with the investigation.
