    American Russell Henley is backing himself to take out the US golf Open at Torrey Pines


    After the third round, the 32-year-old is in a three way tie for the lead with Canadian Mackenzie Hughes and South African Louis Oosthuizen at five under par.

    Rory McIlroy and Bryson DeChambeau are tied for fourth, just two shots off the pace.

    Henley says he's realised he could take out this major.
