    After 91 years of New Zealand test cricketing history, Kane Williamson's pioneers have achieved immortality in the sport at Southampton


    Ross Taylor has whipped a ball off his pads to the square leg boundary to secure the inaugural test championship and the most significant silverware in their history.

    New Zealand chased 139 for victory on the sixth and last day to win by eight wickets.

    Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor were at the crease on 52 and 47 respectively.
