New Zealand should brace for a polar blast to strike this week

MetService says a cold front is expected to hit the South Island late tomorrow, followed with high winds.
Light snowfall is expected across the South Island on Monday.
Wind chill in the area could cause issues for farmers and their livestock down south.
MetService meteorologist Andy Best says it's still up in the air how bad it will be.
He says more accurate information will be available later on today.
