The person's partner has now tested positive for the virus, prompting fears they may have been infectious near the end of their visit to Wellington.
It's meant our health authority's particularly interested in anyone who may have had contact with Case A in the latter part of their stay.
Anyone who was at Countdown Cable Car lane between 6 and 7.15pm on Sunday June 20, or One Red Dog Customhouse Quay between 7 and 9pm the same day, should stay home and get tested.
Those who went to One Red Dog must self-isolate for a full 14 days, and get tested on days five and 12.
Also, anyone who was at the Wellington Airport Food Court between 8.30 and 9.55am on Monday June 21, and more specifically the Wellington Airport Men's Toilets on level 1, north end of the terminal between 9.15 and 9.30am, should stay at home until they test negative.
All people who passed through Wellington Airport between 8.30 and 10.30am on Monday June 21 should have a test if any symptoms develop.
