Beauden Barrett will start at first-five against Fiji in Dunedin on Saturday, while lock Brodie Retallick will play his first test since the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
Foster says Barrett performed well off the bench against Tonga.
He adds Retallick has had a bit of bounce in his steps this week.
Top seed Ash Barty is reading nothing into previous encounters when she takes on Angelique Kerber in the first women's semifinal at Wimbledon tonight.
The world number one is weary of the German who has won three of their five previous matches.
But Barty says it's a new match on a new surface, in a new situation.
