Auckland's Northern busway is due to get an upgrade under the Regional Land Transport Plan

Auckland's Northern busway is due to get an upgrade under the Regional Land Transport Plan

There have been increases in the number of riders every year since 2008.

The upgrade will take place over four stages, and they will lead to more reliability, lower overall journey times and more space at bus stops for customers.

Implementation of the enhancements are planned for between 2028 and 2031.
