That was the message Foreign Minister Nanaia Mahuta took to Cabinet months ago.
Newly released documents show Mahuta warning her colleagues about Fiji's Covid vulnerabilities.
Cabinet agreed to give forty million dollars in aid to stem the economic bleeding.
This was in April - since then, Covid-19 has ripped through the country... infecting 10,000 people and claiming the lives of 57.
Fiji has recorded another 485 new cases and three deaths overnight.
