    A worker at Youth Garage alleges two people stole a BMW, that was later involved in a major police operation on Auckland's Great South Road


    Two large Auckland intersections are closed, and there appear to have been multiple crashes - and two people are in hospital, one with serious injuries.

    Youth Garage's Dali Hou says he thinks a woman who came in, acting like a customer, took a car key - which a man soon after used to drive the BMW away.

    A witness has reported hearing gunshots on Great South Road, and another saw a gun-wielding man running down Great South Road weaving between cars.
