Those in New Plymouth are being urged to get tested after the virus was picked up in wastewater earlier this week.
The Ministry says it could be from a recovered case, but could also indicate there's unknown community transmission.

She says they are interested in anyone who's been in the country recently to get tested - whether they have symptoms or not.
