It's been a busy night for emergency services in Lower Hutt

Part of Stokes Valley Road has been closed for much of the night, following a two-car crash just after 7.30pm.

A car rolled on its side and blocked the road between George Street and Eastern Hutt Road.

Meanwhile, a stretch of State Highway Two has been blocked for much of the night, following another two-car crash about 9pm.

The crash happened at the intersection with Fairway Drive on Kennedy-Good Bridge.
