Around 150 homes in Auckland are still without power after yesterday's gale force winds

Around 150 homes in Auckland are still without power after yesterday's gale force winds

Crews worked overnight to get more customers across the city back up-and-running.

Vector says they'll be out in the field again today to focus on restoring power while it's safe to do so.

A spokeswoman says in some cases, there's significant damage caused by the high winds, which is why some homes are taking longer to reconnect.
