Chasing the hosts' 127 for nine, Australia finished at 117 for four, losing by 10 runs after they'd been seemingly well placed at 71 for one in the 13th over.
It was a landmark victory for Bangladesh, giving them a 3-nil lead, their first series triumph against Australia in any format.
