More education in schools is being held out as a way to keep young drivers safe, following the deaths of five teens in a single crash this weekend

It's reported police suspect the driver - who was the only survivor of the smash in Timaru - did not have a full licence.
Road Safety Education programme manager Maria Lovelock says young drivers are at more risk.
She wants to see more education on why restricted drivers, shouldn't have passengers.
Lovelock says there's a greater chance of distraction with passengers...and therefore more chance of a crash.
