Federated Farmers are challenging the Government to fast track immigration - to plug workforce gaps

A 14-hundred strong farming survey shows nearly half of farmers are having trouble recruiting skilled and motivated staff.
President Andrew Hoggard acknowledges many farmers are looking overseas for better jobs.
He says an easy fix is to give them confidence by signing off their work visas.
He says the Government need to give them certainty that there is a life for them in New Zealand.
