The Government's announced acceleration of the vaccine roll-out's allowed officials to open bookings to the next age band.
People aged 50 and over can expect an invitation to book a jab from Friday morning, either online or by phone.
Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says the booking system's performing well.
She says a record 296-thousand-650 spots were booked last week - meaning there's more than one-million bookings in the system.
Vaccine spots for people aged 55 and above opened just last Friday.
