71-year-old Graeme Charles Lindsay has been sentenced to six months and two weeks' home detention at the High Court in Auckland, for offences against two boys in the mid-1970s.
The first victim was molested on a Scouts trip to Rangitoto and told the court he spent years suffering in silence.
A second abuse survivor told the court he was in an environment of calculated grooming.
