Scott Dixon's remaining upbeat about his championship chances following a disappointing result at the IndyCar's latest event in Illinois

Dixon was forced to retire after colliding with Rinus VeeKay, an incident that also took out former series leader Alex Palou .
The Kiwi driver entered the race 34 points off the championship lead, a gap that's grown slightly to 43 points with three races left in the season.
Fellow Kiwi Scott McLaughlin finished fourth.
