New Zealand's slower start on the vaccine roll-out could be a blessing in disguise

A vaccine expert says preliminary data suggests more immunised people are catching Covid-19, the longer its been since their vaccination.
Israel began a huge vaccine-drive late last month, offering a third dose of the Pfizer jab to people over the age of 60 - to try reduce infections.
But Vaccine Alliance Aotearoa's clinical director says New Zealand has more time before needing boosters because we started later, and can analyse data from other countries.
Fran Priddy says right now, the priority should be ensuring everyone has their first two doses.
