Health officials says, so far, only 76 per cent of those contacts have had a test.
All the new cases are in Auckland ...taking the total this outbreak to 347.
Nineteen people are in hospital - one in ICU.
A positive case worked two shifts while unknowingly infectious on a dementia ward at Warkworth resthome.
They are fully vaccinated and wore PPE.
A new wastewater sample in Christchurch has returned a positive result - but that again could be in line with cases in MIQ.
Yesterday just over 90 thousand covid jabs were administered - the highest daily total so far.
