Countdown has opened a one hundred-million-dollar distribution centre in Palmerston North

Countdown has opened a one hundred-million-dollar distribution centre in Palmerston North

The 38 thousand square metre building opened three weeks ahead of schedule to cope with food demands, under lockdown conditions.

It's three times bigger than any centre previously in the city.

CountdownX director, Sally Copland, says they sped up the transition to relieve pressure in the North Island.
