More capacity is being added to boost Canterbury's vaccination rates

More capacity is being added to boost Canterbury's vaccination rates

42 percent of the population has received a first dose of the vaccine and 21 percent two doses.

There are currently 75 clinics operating.

Canterbury hit its 'most vaccines given in a day' on Thursday last week - with just over 10 thousand administered.

A drive targeting the migrant population in Ashburton saw 600 people vaccinated on Sunday.

Another pop-up clinic's planned there for the end of October.
