    Auckland's Karangahape Road recorded a retail high, before plunging into lockdown


    Before Alert Level 4, Marketview figures ranked the strip the highest performing Business Improvement District of all 66 across the Auckland region for the past three months.

    Customer spending at K Road businesses from May to July this year was 25.9 per cent higher than the previous three months.

    The value of each transaction also increased by 3.3 per cent in the same period.
