A Napier woman's admitted killing her 28-year-old terminally ill daughter

Cherylene May Lawrence admitted a charge of murder at the High Court in Napier today.
Lawrence strangled her daughter Chevana Fox on February 1st - she died in hospital four weeks later.,
Fox had juvenile Huntington's disease which causes degeneration of brain and nerve cells, and movement, cognitive and psychiatric issues.
She'd been discharged from Hawke's Bay Hospital's mental health unit into her mother's care late last year - and had spent several years in care facilities before that.
Lawrence will be sentenced in November.
