Thousands of British fuel stations have run dry, as motorists scramble to fill up amid a supply disruption due to a shortage of truck drivers

The Petrol Retailers Association, which represents almost five and a half thousand independent outlets, says about two-thirds of its members had sold out of their fuel yesterday.
It says the rest are running out soon.
Association chairman Brian Madderson says the shortages are the result of panic buying,
He says there's plenty of fuel in thecountry, but it is in the wrong place for the motorists.
