Health officials are continuing to encourage anyone living in Auckland's suburbs of interest to get tested for Covid-19 - regardless of whether they have symptoms or not

These suburbs are Clover Park, Mangere, Favona, Manurewa, Mount Wellington, Henderson and Papakura - with 2,878 swabs taken in these areas yesterday.

It comes as there are 27 new community cases of Covid-19 today - all in Auckland.

14 of these are household contacts, eight are known contacts and five are under investigation.

There are 22 people in hospital, including three in ICU or HDU.
