New Zealand Football have time to carry out the remainder of the Chatham Cup despite the Covid impact, but the clock's ticking into stoppage time

The second semifinal is yet to be played between Miramar and North Shore United in Wellington.

The game - originally scheduled for October 16 - is now on hold due to North Shore players being based in locked down Auckland.

The governing body's general manager of football, Daniel Farrow, says at this stage they don't have a cut-off date other than being mindful of when the national league begins.

The North Shore players are yet to return to training, and would need two weeks to prepare.
