The value of houses continue to rise nationwide... but the rate of growth is slowing down

Data from the latest QV House Price Index shows the average house value grew by 3.6 percent nationally, to nearly 980-thousand dollars over the past three-months.
That's only slightly up from 3.3 percent the month before.
QV general manager David Nagel says while they're seeing a slow down in growth, it's unlikely house prices will fall.
