    Only time will tell if plant-based milk is here to stay for good

    While alternative milk has gripped the market in the last decade, blue-top milk is still a popular choice.

    In the four weeks ending September 19th, the country's total fresh white milk market increased six-percent in volume.

    Thrive Magazine editor Niki Bezzant says whether plant-based milk is a food fad remains to be seen.

    She says people are looking for alternatives to dairy and animal products - but she's unsure if that's where the mainstream is going.
