Queenstown-Lakes and the Selwyn District have both achieved 99 per cent first Covid jab figures

It puts them in the top spots for the country's most Covid-protected places.

Health Ministry data shows as of Sunday, 87 per cent of Queenstown's population is fully vaccinated.

Eleven per cent have had one dose - and only 1.1 per cent are still unvaccinated.

Eighty-five per cent of Selwyn residents are fully vaccinated, with 14 per cent having had one dose, and one per cent unvaccinated.
