A Covid-19 protest led by about fifty bikers has taken over central Wellington

Thousands of protestors are currently marching from Civic Square to the Beehive.
They are demanding an end to Covid restrictions and vaccine mandates.
A diversion's in place for Metlink bus services between 10am and 3pm.
There will be no stops between Courtenay Place and the Lambton Interchange.
Newstalk ZB's Jack Crossland says the scenes in the capital's CBD were intense.
Crossland says the bikers have been doing burn-outs filling the streets with smoke.
He says the feeling in the city has become intimidating and uneasy.
