    A second man charged with murder - over the death of Christchurch teen Connor Whitehead on Friday has appeared in court this afternoon


    The 43-year-old made no plea in an appearance from custody via audio visual link.

    He's due to reappear in the High Court at Christchurch on November 26.

    The man was arrested yesterday after a raid on an Avonside house.

    A 32-year-old man also accused of murder is still in hospital and did not appear in court yesterday.

    Three others have been charged with being accessories after the fact of murder.
