The draw has been made overnight, with OFC managing to dodge South America and Asian opposition.
If the spot was to be decided as it stands, the Oceania qualifier would face Panama.
The match will be played next June in Qatar.
Details on the Oceania qualifying path will be revealed on Tuesday.
