Police have confirmed the parties involved know each other - and say there is minimal risk to the wider community.

Emergency services were called to Washington Rd after 1pm, with reports a person had been injured.

The man died at the scene and police have launched a homicide investigation.

Detective Inspector Mark Chenery says they're continuing to appeal for witnesses who may have seen anything between 12.45pm and 1.30pm.
