Campaigners say Russia's invasion of Ukraine highlights how New Zealand's fuel supply could be threatened

A new system could mean vessels transporting fuel could be snapped up by other countries for use as emergency storage.
A group of unions is meeting with Cabinet ministers to raise concerns about the risks they see in the oil companies' intention to drop two oil tankers from April.
It will mean the loss of around 100 jobs.
Campaign Save our Tankers is also warning of an insecure fuel supply, the potential for lower fuel quality, and storage issues and congestion causing delays at ports.
