The competition newcomers have remained down south as the other five teams all departed back to home base, but have only played one of their scheduled four games.
They're due to play the Highlanders on Friday in Dunedin, although the southerners have some Covid cases.
Assistant coach Dale McLeod says they are making the most of remaining in the south.
The other two games this weekend have been switched due to the Hurricanes Covid situation, meaning they will face the Chiefs on Sunday now and the Crusaders will host the Blues Saturday.
