Calls for Christchurch to lead the way to bring people back into the cities

The city council is considering ideas to help businesses survive the ongoing impacts of the pandemic as part of its 1.55 million dollar initiative.
Central City Business Association chairwoman Annabel Turley believes making the city's trams free over Easter and the school holidays, would bring people to the city.
She says the council needs to send a message that the city is open.
