The Wellington Phoenix' unbeaten run at Eden Park has continued!

The Wellington Phoenix' unbeaten run at Eden Park has continued!

The Kiwi club have beaten the Western Sydney Wanderers 1-nil in Auckland.

Striker Ben Waine tapped in the lone goal in the 22nd minute, set up by David Ball.

The Phoenix survived an attacking onslaught from Western Sydney, with two shots ricocheting off the crossbar.

Wanderers coach Mark Rudan was even shown a red card for language on the sideline.

Captain Oli Sail told Sky Sport the fans were spectacular.

The result consolidates their spot in fourth on the A-League ladder with three games to play.
